Scossa ultima alle 8.35, Molise in allerta. Cosa ne pensa il ricercatore Giampaolo Giuliani che però le stazioni di rilevamento le possiede in Abruzzo, a 211 chilometri (distanza stradale) dall’epicentro. Visto che il Molise Centrale si trova sulla faglia del Matese, non sarebbe il caso di istituire centrali di rilevamento radon?
(ITM – UNMONDODITALIANI) Sciame sismico in atto, 72 ore d’inferno in Molise, oltre 100 scosse, si dorme sempre di meno e il ricercatore Giampaolo Giuliani consiglia attenzione per gli abitanti che si trovano in un raggio di circa 20 Km dall’attuale epicentro. Giuliani, da circa vent’anni, studia il comportamento del gas Radon come precursore sismico e grazie ai suoi strumenti ha previsto in anticipo di diverse ore gli eventi sismici più forti che hanno interessato l’Italia. Le sue ricerche hanno attirato l’attenzione delle università e di altri studiosi all’estero, tanto da avviare collaborazioni importanti.
“L’analisi dei dati – le dichiarazioni di Giuliani – mostra ancora una persistenza del flusso di Radon ad un livello medio alto, tale da giustificare ancora nelle prossime ore un rilascio di eventi sismici legati allo sciame in atto. Si consiglia pertanto, almeno per le successive 24 ore, di prestare molta attenzione e seguire eventualmente il numero di eventi percepibili dalla popolazione. In questi casi, ci si organizza preventivamente anche a situazioni più critiche che si potrebbero verificare. Al momento, per le prossime 10-12 ore, non si evincono eventi superiori a quello di M. 4.1/4.3 già verificatosi. Ciò nondimeno, data la distanza delle nostre stazioni dall’epicentro degli eventi e la possibilità rapide variazioni di velocità di carichi di energia è sempre consigliabile essere vigili e prudenti. Spero di non essere stato troppo allarmista ma nello stesso tempo spero di indurre alla massima prudenza. Il richiamo all’attenzione è consigliato per gli abitanti che si trovano in un raggio di circa 20 Km dall’attuale epicentro dello sciame”.
Lo studioso, in effetti, non può essere più preciso perché le analisi del flusso di Radon sono state registrate in Abruzzo e non in Molise, nello specifico dalle stazioni di Coppito e Fagnano. Forse (ma è una nostra lettura) potrebbe essere una frecciatina velata nei confronti di un governo regionale che non ha provveduto ad istituire delle stazioni di rilevamento che utilizzino le nuove tecnologie in campo
