Robert Mondavi, California wine at Filitalia
After the last webinar on the representations of Italy in USA, Angela Cacciarru decided to talk about the wine’s art of Robert Mondavi. “Making good wine is a skill. Fine wine is an art,” said Robert Mondavi (1913-2008.) How true! The legendary vintner Robert Mondavi made of his fine skill a unique art, through which he managed to marvel and delight wine lovers for generations. Filitalia invites you to walk through Robert Mondavi’s enchanting Napa Valley vineyards, and discover how he managed to transform an idea into a successful reality. Ultimately, he was driven by his deep understanding of the profound interrelationship among a rich and well nurtured soil, a lovingly tended vineyard, and the human tenacity required to reach the only possible goal: excellence.
